Three evidence levels
A destination, person or fact directly named on Rockstar’s official pages or media library.
A feature seen in an official trailer or screenshot without inventing a formal place name.
A proposed position based on public images, landmarks and geographic relationships. It is not an official coordinate.
No. Rockstar has revealed named destinations, official screenshots and trailer footage, but not the complete map, exact borders or scale.
No. This is an independent, fan-made research map. Official information, details visible in Rockstar media and community estimates are labeled separately.
GTA VI is set in the fictional state of Leonida, with Vice City as the principal city highlighted in Rockstar’s material and several other named destinations beyond it.
Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park are named in Rockstar material. Rockstar does not classify all six as the same type of region.
Rockstar has not announced exact dimensions, land area or road length. See the map-size guide for the measurement limits. Read the full map-size guide.
There is not enough official measurement data for an accurate percentage comparison. “Biggest evolution” is not a physical area figure. See the confirmed comparison.
Vice City visibly draws on Miami and South Florida culture, architecture and geography, but it is fictional and should not be treated as a one-to-one copy.
Rockstar currently lists November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
No. Collectible and mission layers will only be added after reliable game data becomes available.
Estimates are evaluated against official screenshots, trailers, visible signs, recurring landmarks and geographic relationships. A confidence label indicates the strength of the available evidence; it does not make the coordinate official.
No official scale bar, coordinate system or complete state boundary has been published.
No. The Leonida Survey uses public Rockstar trailers, screenshots and pages. Leak-derived footage and coordinates are excluded.
Fan maps may interpret camera perspective, road connections and landmark relationships differently. Without an official scale and complete map, more than one reconstruction can fit the available evidence.
Evidence is reviewed when Rockstar publishes relevant material and whenever a public source supports a correction. Material changes are recorded on the Updates page.
Corrections require the record name, the proposed change and a public source that supports it. Email a correction.
